Right before October 1, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) sealed off Beijing and spent a fortune for a large-scale military show. Meanwhile, the CCP's 60 years of robbing China also become a hot subject. In the evening of September 16, Wei Jingsheng, the chairman of the Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition, attended and spoke at a seminar in the greater Washington metro area. He expressed that the most important lesson we learned from the past 60 years is to aim at the Chinese Communist Party. We must clearly realize the conspiratorial and evil nature of the CCP, instead of be incited by the CCP into hating each other instead.

Wei Jingsheng further analyzed that the CCP has been robbing China three times now. First, the CCP used slogans including "we want democracy" to cheat the Chinese and thus get the power of governing. This first robbery continued as the CCP deprived the private ownership and assets from the people. In the second robbery, as the CCP faced collapse, Deng Xiaoping used "rule of law", "democracy" and "market economy" to cheat the people, and thus created a wealthy paradise for the powerful on the suffering of common people. Today, as the CCP is coming to its end, it has started to fan up hatred and nationalism in an effort to create an enemy, and thus accomplish the third robbery.

This seminar was hosted by the Epoch Times Washington Bureau, and cosponsored by the Washington Forum and Global Alliance to Quit the CCP.
