A Tibetan arrested for suspected of being behind of a bomb blast in Tibet: report
A report from Tibet said, that Mr. Tashi, a Tibetan and a local official from Bhathang county eastern Tibet, was arrested on his way home on 19 June suspected of organization of a bomb attack in Tibet at the height of anti-China protests nearly three months ago.
Before the arrest many protesters suspected of hanging politically motivated banners in the area managed to escape.
According to the report, Tashi is suspected of being behind of an explosion at the Chinese police building of Pogurshi township, Bhathang county, eastern Tibet in March this year. His arrest comes after many young Tibetans escaped from the areas as they were suspected of hanging banners in the township and its surrounding areas. It read "Go Back Chinese" "Free Tibet" and "Long live His Holiness the Dalai Lama" in Chinese and Tibetan."
Tashi, a 40 years old Tibetan, a son of Urgyen Rigzin (Father) and Akyid (Mother) was local official of Phogurshi township, Bhathang county, eastern Tibet. There is still no confirmation where he has been detained or still alive after he was arrested by the armed Chinese military forces in the area.
