Tibet Independence March Day 15

Since Tibet’s Independence March entered in Tamil Nadu the weather becomes hot in each and everyday which is creating trouble to the marchers such as thirsty, sweating, burning in the sun, head ache and etc. Day 15 is also no different. The Tibet’s Independence Marcher got up at 4-00 am and gathered in the hall at 4-30am for morning prayer and had break fast at 5-00am. At 5-30am the march started from Damal Village towards Kanchipuram which is 20km away, though its dark in the morning but the cool breeze and full moon helps the marcher to move forward.
Kanchipuram is such a big city. It is also known as Temple City and it is the 7th sacred town in India. Kanchipuram is divided into four different Kanch such Jain Kanchi, Buddha Kanchi, Shiva Kanchi and Vishnu Kanchi.. Kanchi Kamakshi is the one of the famous and scared Temple in India and thousands of tourist from all over India visit this temple each and everyday.According to the history of the city, There was a big Buddhist university which was built in 9th century and later Buddhism declined.
Tibet’s Independence Marchers reached at Kanchipuram around 9-45 am covering the 20kms within four long hours of restless walk. As soon as marchers enter, they started shouting slogans for Tibet’s Independence. About two hours the marcher went procession into the Temple City covering five to seven kilometres within the city. The local people took lots of interest in this march and everyone comes out of their home to have a glimpse of Tibet’s Independence Marcher. The pamphlets distributors are very busy to hand over the pamphlets to the local people into the Bus, Autoricksha, four wheelers and two wheelers and on bicycle, even local people themselves come forward to get the pamphlets.
Around 11-00am the Marcher reached in Kamakshi Chautry where we are halting the night and it is exactly sopposite to the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple. The lunch will be sponsored by Mrs. Chikki. Mr. Sawdharma helped us to contact with press and also for accommodation.
