Tibetan Students Association Mangalore organized the 1st All India Tibetan Students Conference in Mangalore.
Mr Kalsang Phuntsok, President of the Tibetan Youth Congress , shared his views with the delegates.
He said that” the struggle for independence is not enough and needs more effort and that the struggle for independence has no end. Youth must develop confidence to pursue their goal and should be far sighted. The freedom struggle cannot be only one sided and Tibetans should be aware about the political changes within China. The struggle is a long term struggle and that no one can be forced to participate in it unless they do it willingly.”
This was followed by a Question And Answer session between the delegates and Mr Kalsang Phuntsok and it was followed by a discussion among the delegates.
