Almeno tre tibetani ,processati in gran segreto,sono stati condannati a 11 anni di carcere duro per aver manifestato nella capitale.

300 monache sono state costrette a lasciare il monastero ( il monastero dovrebbe trovarsi nei pressi di Kardze ) per essersi rifiutate di seguire le sessioni di” rieducazione patriottica”.
Sempre a Kardze nei giorni scorsi la polizia politica comunista ha fatto irruzione nel monastero di Dragkar ed ha arrestato una delle monache preposte alla gestione della struttura.

On Thursday afternoon, China’s official news agency, Xinhua, confirmed the latest round of talks and quoted unidentified officials as saying there had been an agreement for more discussions by year’s end “if the Dalai Lama made positive moves.”
Xinhua offered no specifics about the talks this week, though it noted that the two senior envoys, Lodi Gyari and Kelsang Gyaltsen, had toured the Olympic stadiums in Beijing and met with local Tibet specialists.

Per via della lunga detenzione nel campo di lavoro forzato, la sua salute fisica e mentale sono drasticamente peggiorate. Il suo corpo ha sopportato enormi dolori derivanti dalle torture e sono emersi molti disturbi. La sua richiesta di residenza fu respinta e solo nel caso in cui avesse rinnegato la sua fede l’avrebbero accettata. Le fu negata la possibilità di lavorare fuori casa.

BEIJING, July 2 — China's Communist Party boss in Tibet delivered a fresh attack on the Dalai Lama Wednesday, even as envoys of the region's exiled leader met for a second day with Chinese officials for talks aimed at easing tensions following anti-government riots.
The official Tibet Daily quoted hardliner Zhang Qingli as saying that supporters of the Dalai Lama were behind the violence that began with deadly rioting in Tibet's capital Lhasa on March 14 and quickly spread throughout Tibetan areas of western China.

BEIJING — Two United States representatives who were in Beijing to lobby for the release of more than 700 political prisoners had hoped to have dinner on Sunday with a group of Chinese human rights lawyers. But security agents had a different idea: they detained some of the lawyers and warned the others to stay away.

Ho incontrato i parenti di alcuni religiosi rilasciati nei giorni scorsi e tutti mi hanno riferito che i monaci e le monache sono stati torturati.
Inoltre vengono costretti a lasciare il monastero e fare ritorno ai paesi di origine.

Dopo che era stata issata la bandiera tibetana la polizia ha compiuto diverse irruzioni nel monastero di Sey.
Durante le perquisizioni sono state distrutte tutte le fotografie del Dalai Lama e sono stati portati via molti oggetti rituali.
