The Wei Jingsheng Foundation, Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition, US Tibetan Dhokham Chushi Gangdruk, Tibetan Youth Congress in Vermont, the International Committee to Support The Non- Violent Movement For Human Rights in Vietnam, Free China Movement, Asia Democracy Alliance and other human rights organizations are planning to hold a briefing/press conference commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 1989 Chinese democracy movement, which was suppressed by the Chinese Communist Party by a massacre on June 4, 1989. Thousands of students and citizens were killed during that massacre. The youngest one was only 3 years old. We will also commemorate the 20th anniversary of
the Tibetans struggle against the violence conducted by the Chinese Communist regime in Tibet in 1989 when many Tibetans were massacred by the Chinese military lead by Hu Jintao, the then Communist Party chief in Tibet, who wore his safety helmet with machine gun in his hands to lead the murderous military. Hu is the current Chinese President and chairman of the Chinese Communist Party.

As Chinese, Tibetans and all the people suppressed by the Chinese Communist regime and other Communist regimes join hands for this briefing/press conference, we are not just remembering all those
suffering lives and souls under the Communist regime, but also calling for the support of the international society, especially from democratic countries, in our effort for human rights, freedom and democracy. As now is a very crucial time for China facing revolution, we want this briefing to keep you informed of what is going on in China and the Asia region as well.

We will also announce and release our 6.4 documentary materials for the occasion.
