- 10.30-12.00 o’clock: start demonstration & speeches - entrance Jubelpark/Cinquentenaire at Wetstraat/Rue de la Loi (nearby metro Schuman)
- 12.00-13.00 o’clock: march to the Chinese embassy (walk through the park to Montgomery)
- 13.00-15.00 o’clock: demonstration Chinese embassy - Avenue de Tervueren

March 10 is Tibetan Uprising Day. Every year the uprising in Lhasa on 10th March 1959 is commemorated then. That day, so in 2009 50 years ago, was the biggest demonstration against the illegal Chinese occupation of Tibet at that time. During the uprising 80.000 people died.

Tuesday 10th March 2009 there is a big demonstration in Brussels, a joint initiative of the Tibetan Community in Belgium, the Tibetan Youth Congress Belgium, International Campaign for Tibet, Vrienden van Tibet and Les Amis du Tibet. At 10.30 o’clock we demonstrate at the entrance of the Jubelpark/Cinquentenaire at the Wetstraat/Rue de la Loi (nearby metro Schuman). From 12.00 o’clock there is a march in Brussels through the park and Montgomery to the Chinese embassy at the Avenue de Tervueren where we demonstrate too from 13.00 till 15.00 o’clock.
